    Tre Spade brand repositioning by involving the world of food bloggers and the made in Italy claim.

    Where we started

    Tre Spade is part of Italy’s history of professional and semiprofessional equipment for the kitchen and catering, and we celebrated its 120th anniversary with a competition done in collaboration with Slow Food: “120 E LODE IN CUCINA, alla scoperta del piatto più tricolore del web” (TOP MARKS WITH HONOURS IN COOKERY, in pursuit of the most Italian dish on the web)

    The path

    All Italian food-bloggers logging on to the website www.trespade.it could take part in the contest by entering one of their own creations, the dish that could best represent great Italian cuisine in the year of the Expo.

    All the recipes were published in a dedicated section of the website and on the official Facebook page, besides being shared on the personal or official profiles of each blogger. A jury selected the 5 finalists who took part in the final held at the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo (CN): the bloggers worked on their own recipes during a live cooking show in front of the jury and journalists.

    Besides the 5 awards at stake (Tre Spade products kit and vouchers to be spent on line at store.trespade.it) the “Slow Food Special Award” was instituted: a weekend cookery course for two people at the University of Gastronomic Sciences.
